Lebak Banten: Anak Sekolah Bertaruh Nyawa Meniti Jembatan Rusak

Untuk sampai ke sekolah, pelajar-pelajar ini harus bertaruh nyawa, menyeberang jembatan putus. Realitas mengiris hati di Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. “Negeri kita ini seolah negeri tanpa pemimpin, di tingkat lokal tidak ada yang memimpin seperti tidak ada bupati, kepala desa. Kepada pemimpin di tingkat desa segera lakukan kerja bakti jangan biarkan anak-anak bergelantungan di tengah sungai arus deras,” kata Wakil Ketua DPR Bidang Kesra Taufik Kurniawan.

“Ini seperti kita negara belum merdeka. Kepala desa, camat segera lakukan langkah,” imbuhnya.

Di Kampung Tanjung, Lebak, Banten orang dewasa, anak-anak SD dan SMP harus bertaruh nyawa untuk pergi ke sekolah mereka. Mereka harus meniti jembatan kayu yang rusak berat.

Sembari berpegangan pada tali jembatan, mereka harus ekstra hati-hati melangkah. Salah melangkah, byuur! Deras arus Sungai Ciberang, Lebak, Banten bisa merenggut hidup mereka. (Detik.com. Foto: AP & Reuters).*
